House on the slope of a Castle by Frank Sylvester Architects
The house is located in a landscape of unique beauty, the result of natural growth of the urban fabric. The mountain, topped by a castle is covered by blanket housing through a system of aggregation of simple parts juxtaposition generates fragmented target tissue that adapts to the topography. The project proposes to integrate into their surroundings, respecting their strategies of adaptation to environment and materials away from mimesis to drive histonciemos misleading, and showing the time constructively to meet the requirements of loa “newcomers.” In this way, housing is seen as a piece placed on the ground joining in the gap. Frank Sylvester Architects built this house in Ayora, Valencia, Spain.
