Beautiful Raised Home Plan by Tyler Engle Architects
With a tight budget and a tight lot, Tyler Engle Architects have designed this beautiful raised home plan with a bit of good ole-fashioned hard work as well as lots of creativity. This home is set on a steep slope. This home was built like a system of sections set on the trestles, which are hovering above the hillside. Moreover, in order to balance the meager budget demands, these architects adopted an interpretation of traditional Japanese architecture style Tatami mat module. This house features 12-by-16-ft. grid system as well as 4-by-8-ft. sheets of the plywood.
