Architecture Project Soccer Training Center by Chartier – Corbasson
Architects Chartier – Corbasson designed this Soccer Training Center project in France for their client Amiens Métropole. The project is divided into two parts with two levels each. At the first level are the rooms for the coaches’ offices and training areas. At ground level are the dressing rooms, the medical unit, services, and recreation rooms. The project site in the field has enabled us to design a building with two facades, with elevation to the river being used as a feature of the interior views. The side elevation of the fields is an ongoing exercise: the mantle of grass is bent and curved to cover the building. The walls of the ground level are largely glazed to ensure that the greenery outside is clearly visible from the inside.
